The Wine Country Inn’s very popular “Inn-cursion” winery tour program has been expanded to seven days a week through the middle of November, Inn officials said today.

No more than three couples leave the Inn at approximately 10:00 a.m. with a driver/guide for a day of wine tasting and touring. The Inn-cursion program includes visits to at least three Napa Valley wineries, a gourmet lunch prepared by the Inn ’s staff, and a scenic tour of some of the Napa Valley ’s most picturesque spots.

Wine Country Inn innkeeper Jim Smith said that the Inn-cursion program’s popularity led to the expansion. “Our guests love the idea of us taking them to places they probably wouldn’t otherwise find during their Napa Valley vacation,” Smith said. “Plus they don’t have to worry about wine tasting and then driving. It’s been hugely successful.”
